Each house had a television stand in the living room. Trouble is that the wooden, veneer cabinets were in a bad state due to old age and weather conditions (humidity, heat and drought) in particular. They were unsightly, we could not clean them properly anymore and some of them almost fell apart. High time to replace them.
Unfortunately, we have not received any donations to do this, but because we had wood left from some other job, we were able to build new cabinets. One of the houses only wanted a shelf under the television instead of a whole cabinet, so here we saved material. Only the fact that the old furniture was gone, made all the difference, but it’s also good to see something new came in its place.
