Victory

Early April seven of our girls traveled to Bangkok to compete in a very important self-defense contest, Jiu-Jitsu. Each of them had been training hard to get to this point and now the time was finally there. The journey itself was great fun, because from the gym several young people came along as well as one of the mothers. The 800 km journey was made in two vans with 12 people each.

The matches, arranged in weight categories, were spread out over two days and everybody tried their best and encouraged each other. The good thing is that they all won a gold medal and so the hard training really paid off. Of course we are all very proud of them.
