I can assure you that many girls prefer hanging out in front of the television, but when the sounds of playing children drift in from outside, they are lured outside as well. They play with the tetherball, on the scooter or the go-kart and they practise riding the motorbike. Others like to sit at the picnic table for a chat with ‘mother’ or a game of checkers. Only when it gets dark and the mosquitoes are coming, everyone goes back inside.
